Public Information Sessions in Newtownards, Comber and Donaghadee

TUESDAY 25 NOVEMBER 2014

Public Information Sessions in Newtownards, Comber and Donaghadee

Information sessions on the Public Realm works in Newtownards, Comber and Donaghadee will be held next month (December 2014).

FP McCann, who has been appointed by Ards Borough Council to carry out the redevelopment work in the three towns, will provide local business owners and residents with an update on the public realm programme, as well as taking time to answer any questions.

The schemes, which are being match-funded by the Department for Social Development (DSD) and delivered by the Council, are intended to reinvigorate the town centres, transforming their visual appearance and enhancing their appeal as a place to visit and shop, generating a positive economic impact.

In an investment totalling over £10M, each town will benefit from new paving, lighting, planting, seating and signage.

The information session on Newtownards Public Realm Scheme will take place on Monday 1 December 2014 at 5.15pm in Molly Brown’s (South Street), Newtownards.

The information session on Comber Public Realm Scheme will take place on  Tuesday 2 December 2014 at 5.30pm in Comber Leisure Centre.

The information session on Donaghadee Public Realm Scheme will take place on  Wednesday 3 December 2014 at 6.00pm in Donaghadee Community Centre.

 Festive refreshments will be provided.
